IEM Hannover World Championships - Blog - SoloMid.NET - League ...

I think group A is quite weaker than B. CLG NA really need to step up their game to pass, they are very strong individually but lacking in team fights at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised if they get busted early, same with fnatic. But both team have a lot of LAN experience so that may help. I don't see Millenium doing anything, so Dignitas and especially the asian team have a good chance to get though group stage.

Group B will be very interesting to watch. A lot of people tend to underestimate M5, attributing their success to their counter jungling only. I think these people are really wrong. M5 have very strong lanes, and I have almost never seen them losing in CS except when the other team gets early advantage and pushes it hard (like TSM in Kiev's second game or CLG.EU in KOE's first finals game).
They should pass along with TSM. The 3rd team to get through should be SK or Ehome, but Sypher can upset things if they are on a good day. Their problem is their inconsistancy, which will penalize them in a full BO3 format.
I think TSM and M5 are the favorites to take down the whole thing, but like in any sports event, upsets happen.
The best of luck to TSM anyway, I think that they are the hardest working team - it was a great decision to move to EUW, they know the different metas better than any other team. And they win every lv1 fights, that should help beating the stronger teams :b
